Welcome to the 2026 Wynnewood Sukkot BBQ!

250 years ago, a group of visionaries met in Philadelphia and began the American constitutional experiment which relies on a fragile, conscious preservation of liberty that must be actively rebuilt by each generation.

The sukkah is a fragile, temporary booth that we rebuild every year, and reminds the Jewish people of our reliance on divine protection and foundational freedoms rather than permanent physical fortresses.

Join us as we celebrate Sukkot and America’s 250th birthday.

The Sukkot BBQ is the event of the season. We are happy to host over 250 attendees each year and this year promises to be the biggest and best ever. The BBQ is open to all whether we know you or not, whether you are affiliated with a synagogue or not. There is no charge but we do ask that you contribute to the event by buying and bringing something.

This year the BBQ will be held on September 27 from 1-5pm – rain or shine! Please register so we know how much food we need to buy – the sooner you register the better! You can register by clicking on this link: Sukkot registration

See you then, Chag Sameach!
